This is an opportunity to work with world-class engineers and scientists dedicated to working on civil and geotechnical engineering projects from conceptual design to final construction. On occasion your expertise may be needed by our parent company on some of their challenging international projects.Responsibilities:Working on transportation infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects including Sr. Reviews of design and reports.Reviewing preliminary and detail designs for road and highway projects.Civil 3D knowledge an asset.Coordinating multi-discipline project teams involved in planning, design and construction work.Assisting with development of proposals.Providing guidance and mentoring to other team members.Liaising with all discipline team members, sub consultants, clients and agencies.Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients.Participating in business development activities for the Transportation Practice.Qualifications:A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum of 8 years related experience in highway geometric design on Alberta Transportation projects and experience carrying out municipal roadway design for Cities and Rural Municipalities.Must be registered or be eligible for registration with APEGA.P3 / DB, Design experience is considered an asset.Proven experience with TAC and Provincial Geometric Design Standards and Guidelines.Proven experience with Civil 3D design software considered an asset.Proven capabilities in writing reports and other technical documents.Possess a strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.Experience or aptitude for meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, client development, and other skills appropriate to consulting.Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).What Makes Tetra Tech A Great Place to Work:Benefits starting day one of employment.Eligible for overtime (calculated at 1.5 times) that can be banked or paid out, whatever you prefer.
