Senior Process OperatorSummary:We are seeking experienced mineral processing operators (10+ yrs) to join our team undertaking hot commissioning and ramp-up of a nearby operation in Newfoundland. In this role you will apply your experience and on the ground knowhow in starting up a mineral processing operation, ensuring safe and efficient start up and providing practical field leadership to junior operators. This is a 3 to 6 month contract position including attractive hourly wage, rotational assignment and living allowance. Core Competencies:Job Roles and Responsibilities:·     Perform processing operations tasks during commissioning support personnel to commissioning, start-up and ramp-up operating mineral processing equipment.·     Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect and correct equipment malfunctions; and ensure plant systems are operating normally.·     Review process data and reporting of any deviations to plant management to minimize plant delays and breakdowns.·     Troubleshoot process issues and work with engineering and maintenance to find effective solutions.·     Review standard operating procedures and update as needed.·     Ensure that new operators are well-trained and have the skills and knowledge they need to do their jobs safely and effectively.·     Coach operators in carrying out duties.·     Motivate individuals and solve problems to achieve results.·     Promote a culture of safety and environmental protection in the workplace.·     Comply with legislation and regulations concerning safety, employment and protection of the environment. Position Requirements:10 years of experience in process operations of a mineral or chemical processing facilityExperience with mineral processing processes and systems is a mustMill experience considered an assetStrong problem-solving skillsStrong work ethic and desire for efficiency and productivityStrong mechanical aptitudeExcellent communication and interpersonal skills About trajectorEtrajectorE’s mission is to Partner with Operators to achieve sustainable production.
