Heritage Education Funds Inc. is one of
Heritage is currently seeking a skilled Web Developer to join the Marketing Group. Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manger, the Web Developerwill be responsible for several aspects of Heritage's online web presence including:
- creating task specific micro sites
- creating and updating corporate sites
- implementing content
- maintaining the corporate web site, client portal, partner portal, and intranet sites
- utilizing SEO techniques
- supporting the marketing team with other web-related tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate should demonstrate sound skills in online site management, web development and project management. You can address the challenges of a corporate communications on a high traffic website and know how to maximize uptime for all website functions.
You have an excellent command of the English language and are extremely detail-oriented. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to anticipate workflow, prioritize and follow tasks to completion. You are a self-starter, good listener, creative and a team player.
Specific skill requirements include,
- advanced skills in web development a requirement
- ability to code HTML, CSS and Javascript
- advanced skills in ASP.Net, MS SQL 2005 and COM+ a requirement
- familiarity with current web trends including CSS based layouts
- familiarity with web site development cycle
- experience with organic search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and best practices
- experience with the Ektron CMS would be an asset but not a requirement
- ability to manage large, dynamic projects
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
