If hired, you will join our client full-time, in a hybrid work arrangement, in a supportive, seasoned team committed to the Ottawa community.Salary range: $85,000-$100,000; depending on your experienceAbout youTo be successful, you will need:5+ years of strong experience as a Family Law LawyerA member in good standing with the Law Society of OntarioA passion for family lawTo be comfortable and have experience in Court for various proceedingsApply high standards and integrity to your workHave strong drafting and analytical skills to assess complex issues while providing your unique perspectiveExcellent oral & written communication skillsProvide effective legal advice on matters with significant complexity and risk exposuresStrong time management and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environmentSolid customer service skills and professionalismBilingual in English & French is an assetAbout the roleIf hired, you will:Litigate family law matters, including preparing for, arguing and attending Conferences, Motions, Trials, etcNegotiate, draft, review, and manage a variety of family law contracts and pleadings, such as: Domestic Contracts, Applications, Answers, Conference Briefs, Motion materials, etcCreate strong and long-lasting connections with clientsProvide mentorship and guidance to junior team membersContribute to a collaborative and collegial team environmentPerks & BenefitsHybrid work arrangementComprehensive medical & dental coverageWellness & education/training programsClient service bonus eligibilityGenerous paid time offApplied to this job already?
