Restructuring Legal Assistant

Salary: Up to $73K
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys specializing in restructuring and insolvency.
- Draft, review, and edit legal documents, including motions, affidavits, and correspondence.
- Coordinate and manage court filings and ensure compliance with court procedures and deadlines.
- Assist with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case preparation.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, hearings, and appointments.
- Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Manage electronic and paper filing systems to ensure documents are easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a legal assistant, with a focus on restructuring and insolvency.
- Completion of a Legal Assistant Diploma
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Stellar organization skills
- Accurate and quality work
- Ability to manage large volume of documents and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-player attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Prioritization and time management skills
