Arlo Canada division is looking for a student with a strong interest in technical project development and management of wireless IoT consumer electronic products from kick off to production. As a part of the Project Engineering (PE) team, you will gain hands-on experience working on the different stages of the project from scheduling, ODM engaging, BOM reviewing, materials planning, manufacturing, sample distribution to FW programming, end to end system testing, HW troubleshooting and supporting various other day to day project activities. With Arlo, you have a chance to expose and learn the different state of the art wireless data communication technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Manager with schedule, BOM management, build plan, material planning, cross-functional and oversee ODM communications
  • Follow project development checklist and test plan to create and document test results and test reports
  • Perform end to end system functional and performance level testing
  • Develop test scripts and test programs to improve sample test efficiency and reliability
  • Assist Project Manager to develop and automate process documentation as needed
  • Support project Beta trial issue tracking and troubleshooting
  • Assist with assembly, rework and debug of various wireless products

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in Computer or Electrical Engineering program with previous co-op experience is desired
  • Strong coordination, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Technically savvy with the ability to understand end to end product functions involve HW, FW, Apps and Cloud
  • Knowledge of HW design, bug tracking tools, and ability to read schematic are preferred
  • Software development, programming and/or scripting experience is preferred

The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between CAD$3000-3700/month. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including bonus, equity, and a full range of benefits.
