Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Punjabi language lessons for Grades K to 6 that meet the BC curriculum standards. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes language learning. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support. Develop and utilize educational materials and resources to enhance language instruction. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance student learning. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Certified to teach in British Columbia. Experience teaching the Punjabi language at the elementary level is preferred. Strong understanding of language teaching methodologies and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
