You will deploy configurations across diverse network hardware, prioritize performance optimization, and cater to the unique requirements of Building Automation Systems (BAS). Additionally, collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients, possess knowledge of authentication protocols, IT security best practices, and exhibit adaptability to project-specific challenges. This position will be reporting to Director of IBT, Construction Overview of Responsibilities Integration configure network systems, including subnetting, routing, and VLAN strategies. Deploy configurations across diverse network hardware, optimizing performance from SOHO to enterprise-class devices. Address unique networking requirements of Building Automation Systems (BAS). Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and IT professionals, building strong rapport. Mentor BAS technicians with IT aptitude and adapt to project-specific challenges. Configure VPNs, email servers/accounts, and adhere to IT/network security best practices. Ensure network and server redundancy options and best practices are implemented. Versatility to adapt to changing project needs and constraints, alongside willingness to mentor BAS technicians. Qualifications Post-secondary degree or diploma in relevant discipline in IT 3-5 years of relevant experience in the same field Certifications in Windows, networking, and security would be advantageous. Proficiency in BACnet, PC & IP Protocol, Cisco networking technologies, including CCA and CCMP. Experience with VLAN configuration, PLC building automation systems, and BACnet over IP. Competence in setting up VPNs, managing switches, and integrating firewalls into network systems. Specialized in network security practices, including securing networks and implementing BGP routing. Expert knowledge in cable routing techniques and best practices. Experienced in deploying configurations across diverse network hardware, from SOHO to enterprise-class devices, and optimizing performance. Knowledgeable about Building Automation Systems (BAS) and capable of addressing their unique networking requirements. Effective communicator with strong rapport-building skills, able to collaborate with colleagues, clients, and IT professionals. Proficient in with authentication protocols (RADIUS, LDAP, etc.), public key infrastructure, and IT/network security best practices and with VPN configuration, email server/account configuration, and various building-related protocols (BACnet, Modbus). Expert of network and server redundancy options and best practices.
