Senior Full Stack Web Developer

Fortinet team has a great career opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Web Developer within its FortiClient team, which is responsible for several of Fortinet's client software developments. The successful candidate will engage in full stack web development and have the opportunities to contribute to various aspects of the software development within the team.We are open candidates with intermediate, senior or staff level experience for this role!Position: This is a full-time, permanent roleLocation: Burnaby, BC (we are working a hybrid model)Job Responsibilities:Design, research, development and maintenance for the FortiClient EMS softwareImplement and manage microservices architecture to enhance system performance and scalabilityStay current with the latest trends in frontend and backend web application development.Skills Required:Minimum 5 years' relevant work experienceExperience with relational databases (ex. SQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL)Demonstrated working experience with PythonPrevious work experience with AngularExcellent problem solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience with web frameworks (ex. Django, Flask, Express.js)Familiar with RESTful API design principlesMust be able to work well in a team development environmentSelf-motivated, demonstrated ability to show proactivenessNice-to-Have:Experience with Go/GolangExperience with network topology and securityExperience with Docker containersThe Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $100,000 - $130,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.
