PEAK Livestock Specialist

The Opportunity As the largest privately-owned AI company in the world, it is our people who make the difference. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Livestock Specialist. This person will be responsible for feeding, bedding, handling of the bulls for production, and all other aspects of general bull care. The candidate will need to have a strong background in operating tractors, skid loaders, and the ability to perform minor facility and equipment maintenance. This role will be based at our Balzac locations. Primary Responsibilities Assist in all aspects of providing care to and semen collection on Alta's proven bulls and young sires Be a key member of the semen collection team focused on maximizing semen quality and quantity Assist with daily feeding of bulls and cleaning of bull pens Assist the Veterinary staff as needed Overall maintenance of equipment, buildings, and grounds Candidate Profile Qualifications Good physical condition. Strong work ethic.
