Keywest has a requirement for a Senior Project Manager whose primary role will be to work closely with Keywest clients to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and budgets. This role requires the ability to work with or build project teams, provide direction, manage client expectations, and assist in the company development and initiatives. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
· Act as a prime contact for the client and representative (Client Manager) of the corporation. Channel information between client and project staff,
· Champion project definition/scoping, review and approve,
· Review and approve project deliverables such as: DBM’s, cost estimates, schedules, equipment and material requests for quotes, evaluation, and award; contract preparation including scope of work (EWP), bid preparation, evaluation and award; project quality control,
· Manage scope, budget, and schedule,
· Change Management,
· Overall project and discipline coordination,
· Responsible for overall project execution and timely completion of project deliverables,
· Participate in HAZOP (Hazards and Operability Study) and PHAs (Process Hazards Analysis),
· A working knowledge of the applicable design codes and standards including CSA Z662, ASME B31.3, etc.,
· Occasional travel, as required by project.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will hold a University Degree or Technical Diploma and have the following qualifications:
· 15 years’ Project Management Experience
· 10+ years conventional Canadian Oil & Gas Industry
· 5+ years Project Management experience with EPC or EPCM Company
· Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
· Possess strong computer, and organizational skills,
· P.Eng. accreditation an asset,
· Demonstrated project management skills are required,
· Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects at the same time,
· Strong negotiation, conflict management and problem-solving skills
· Experience working on the end-user/producer side an asset
