IT ManagerReporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the implementation, and maintenance of key software systems across the organization. Your responsibilities include a hands-on approach to analyzing business needs, configuring software solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, and working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency. Additionally, you will oversee two direct reports, providing guidance and fostering their ongoing professional development.Key Responsibilities Application Planning, Implementation, Maintenance and Support - both strategic and hands on in nature you will provide prompt and proactive technical services including liaising with end users, leadership, consultants, IT and cross functional teams.Business Analysis - determine business requirements, translate into technical specifications and build project plans to provide tailored solutions.User Training and Documentation - document and maintain application processes and lead training for end-users.Security and Compliance - implement security measures of applications and email to ensure industry standards, data protection regulations and company policies are upheld.Quality Assurance and Testing - develop test cases and conduct thorough pre-deployment testing, including documentation of bugs.Application Integration - collaborate to lead a seamless integration of applications into existing platforms and systems.Licenses - keep software and contracts current and competitive through renegotiations and renewals.Management and Network Infrastructure/End-user Devices Support - assist the Senior IT Specialist (Hardware) with: vendor management, procurement of end user equipment, onboarding/offboarding employees, credential security, hardware planning and lifecycle, firmware and OS updates, domain and SSL certificate renewals, Disaster Recovery planning and procedures.Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field. Proven leadership experience with the ability to guide, mentor, and develop team members, while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Proficiency in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining various software applications.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business processes.Familiarity with programming languages, databases, and application development frameworks.Knowledge of IT security best practices and data protection principles.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and end-users.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.Priority considerations for applicants with working knowledge of Microsoft O365, Microsoft Teams Phone, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Server Operating Systems, SharePoint, and Power BI. Working knowledge of the Yardi suite of cloud applications an asset.Compensation and Search Process This role is based in Vancouver and performed primarily in office with some flexibility for remote work on occasion. Compensation $90-115K salary, based on 37 hours per week. Hours can be flexibly scheduled to meet personal and professional needs, while supporting core business hours of 9:30am - 4:00pm. Availability for some travel to sites and technical support outside regular business hours but this is not expected to be significant.
