As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing compliance and tax provisions for a wide variety of clients that include financial services, technology, communications, energy as well as multinationals with complex tax obligations. Responsibilities include:Reviewing corporate, personal, trust and partnership returns.Liaising with clients to gain a deep understanding of clients’ businesses and help manage their tax obligations.Assisting the partners in providing expertise on compliance, provisions and identifying planning opportunities for new business.Corresponding with Lawyers and CRA on tax inquiries & audits.Maintaining tax knowledge and providing tax updates and training to internal staff, assisting with their development.The successful candidate will be a CPA with completion (or near completion) of the in-depth tax course and with proven expertise at the manager level. Ideally you will have experience providing tax services to public companies and large, complex corporations. In addition, this individual must have excellent client relations skills, strong mentoring abilities to train and develop staff and be efficient in project management.This firm provides a professional environment with opportunities to work on international assignments while offering a competitive compensation package.
