Victoria Newitt Recruitment Inc  has been retained by 'Our Client' to search for an eCommerce Manager. The eCommerce Manager will oversee the three main company sites to improve site conversion and give customers a best-in-class site experience, that includes site navigation, product information, category education, and overall inspiration to buy. In this role, you will report directly to the Director, Marketing & eCommerce, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in technology, UX, and Category Management. This is a role that requires strong process management, structured thinking, data-driven decision-making, and creativity for new ideas.  In this highly visible role, you will have the opportunity to have a huge impact on the business. You will get the opportunity to strengthen your skills across a wide range of eCommerce functions, to manage internal resources & external agencies, and to build the best eCommerce experience in the home improvement industry. Duties and responsibilities Manage the product catalogue to ensure product listings are accurate & informative (, product titles, descriptions, images, reviews) Execute brand, category, or product features across the site (, new product launches, sale events, collection highlights) Partner with content generation team to ensure site content is engaging, informative, and accurate Improve site usability by optimising customer navigation (, site taxonomy, search, filters) Develop and execute strategies to improve SEO in coordination with content & technology teams Analyze site performance, user behaviour, and run A/B tests to increase conversion and better the customer experience  Partner with UX & technology teams to identify and implement short & medium-term site improvements/feature rollouts Own process for soliciting and displaying customer reviews Define unique experiences for homeowner customer segment vs. industry professionals Be a leader, coach, and mentor for your team Research and stay up to date on eCommerce trends Education and Experience Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, or related field 3+ years experience of direct eCommerce experience, with an understanding of user experience, site operations, merchandising associated Experience using various CMS & PIMS  Deep understanding of site performance metrics & analytical tools (, GA) Experience with HTML and CSS Understanding of strategies & tactics to improve SEO Experience with A/B testing platforms (, Google Optimize, Unbounce or other testing platforms) Rock-solid analytics alongside an ability to create insights and stories with data Experience working with technology and UX teams Team management experience preferred Customer-first mind-set Curious mindset & desire to improve what’s there, and build new and better Strong entrepreneurial spirit that has grit, determination and challenges the status quo High degree of empathy and the ability to see other’s perspectives Nice to have Experience in GTM, working with dataLayers to capture variable data Both B2C and B2B experience Experience with WordPress Working in an industry where the lead time to conversion is long (4 - 6 weeks) Perks of the Company Endless opportunities to learn Flexible work opportunities Health & medical benefits If this position suits your skills and experience, we want to talk to you!
