If so, this would be a great opportunity for you!Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for an Operations Officer for a 6 month contract in Toronto. This is a hybrid role, 2 days on site. There is a high possibility of contract extension and conversion to full time opportunity.Pay rate: $24.74 / HourWorking Hours: 8am to 4pm Monday to FridayTraining: 100% onsite - 2 weeks approxOvertime may be required depending on the volume.Advantages?Gain experience within a top 5 bank?Potential for contract extension and conversion?Earn a competitive rate within the industry?Hybrid role?Great team to work for, foot in the door at companyResponsibilitiesAs an Operations Officer, your duties will include but not limited to:?Prioritizing and managing own workload to meet service level requirements?Understanding and applying operating policies and procedures?Escalating non-standard or high-risk activities as necessary?Reviewing banking transactions to ensure they are within the bank and regulatory thresholds and guidelines?Forwarding unusual transactions and supporting information for further review?Maintaining appropriate project records, databases, and information?Following internal and industry regulations and operating practices?Ensuring documentation that is prepared / completed is accurate and properly reflects business intentions and is consistent with relevant rules / regulations?Ensuring necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all transactions / activitiesQualifications?Excel skills?Data Entry experience – 5 years?Administrative background?Post-secondary is requiredNice to have:?Banking / Financial Industry Experience – 5 years?AML experience– 5 years?Experience with SLA’s – 5 years?Previous experience handling Confidential informationSummaryInterested in the Operations Officer role in Toronto?
