The successful candidate for this role will play a key role in evolving our app. If you are an experienced product manager for digital apps; have a passion for healthcare, and have successfully partnered with engineers and external vendors to bring new technology to market, then keep reading!Here's How:Understand what the customer needs and wants - use this to partner with vendors and internal engineers to build and execute on the TELUS Health MyCare roadmaps. Collaborate with cross-functional team members in writing user stories and take accountability for having a backlog of prioritized user stories for Sprint PlanningParticipate in Agile/Scrum delivery process, including daily stand-up, grooming, planning meetings, and retrospectivesLeads cross-functional Agile squads take new features from concept through development, testing, pilot and implementation:Partner with teams to outline requirements and ensure delivery of those requirementsWork with the design team to convey user needs and influence the creation of our productsLead timely resolution of production and service delivery issuesWork with quality assurance teams on defining test cases, leading UAT and ensuring features are market-readyLead and make prioritization decisions to ensure resources are focused on the most impactful activities; be adaptable and able to change priorities if it is requiredBecome the subject matter expert for the services you own. Work cross-functionally with Development, Product, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Privacy, Security and other key partners to position our solutions and gain support for implementationWork with our stakeholders to answer product questions and solve for product needs, build testing plans, and bring new programs to market; be a trusted advisor and expert of our product capabilitiesBe as passionate about new features as getting the fundamentals rightUse your continuous improvement mindset to create and / or optimize processes that support product developmentMentor and support new and/or junior team membersQualificationsYou’re the missing piece of the puzzleYou have previous experience as a product manager, working closely with vendors and engineers to deliver on digital health product roadmaps Understanding of Agile product management principles with ScrumExpertise and proficiency in writing user stories, negotiating, defining acceptance criteria, and prioritizing engineering efforts based on multiple inputsStrong analytical skills, and the ability to understand high level and low level business and technical conceptsYou have superior communication and organization skills, enabling you to manage complex requirements, tight timelines and multiple streams of activityYou are known for your relationship building, teamwork, interpersonal skills and track record of delivering superior productsYou have a high degree of comfort with ambiguity, risk management and forging new paths - you would describe yourself as “gritty”You are confident, and a have a track record of driving results and meeting deadlines and targetsYou have a post-secondary degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in product development and managementAs this is a nationally available, bilingual product, fluency in English and French is considered an assetIf this exciting role appeals to you, please submit your resume and a cover letter that demonstrates how your skills and experience are a match for the roleBy applying to this role, you understand and agree that your information will be shared with the TELUS Group of Companies’ Talent Acquisition team(s) and/or any leader(s) who will be part of the selection process. Salary Range:  $96,000-$144,000 Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15% Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location.
