    SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES is hiring a Mechatronics - Sunroof Engineer Adaptation tojoin our growing team in Windsor/Sarnia area with availability to be onsite in Southeast Michigan (Auburn Hills, MI).

    • Responsible for the engineering, design, development, validation, timing and production release of Power Tops, Sunroofs and Drain Tubes.
    • End to end ownership of their components and ensuring they meet vehicle functional objectives.
    • Responsibilities also include: component design, development, and packaging.
    • Weight reduction, cost reduction and other efficiency improvement initiatives.
    • Communicating technical product status to management.
    • Additionally, supporting vehicle assembly plants for any product technical issues, support service teams for any field warranty issues and help in root cause analysis of the failures.
      • Experience in sunroof, power top or convertible top release engineering, or experience in mechatronics components (latches, window regulators, interior mirror, seats)
      • Tier 1 mirror suppliers for word search: Webasto, Inalfa, CIE Golde, Magna Car Top Systems
      • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET accredited or equivalent program. Minimum 2 years design, release, and CAD packaging experience.
      • Release experience in both Mechanical and electrical components.
      • Strong written and oral communication skills.
      • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work in a team environment.
      • Computer proficient (including spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, and database applications).
