Finance Manager-Working Capital

With the vast amount of data available, this role will work closely with the Senior Manager to analyze data, create predictive models, turn data into valuable insights, and drive decision making. The successful candidate will ideally be very strong in excel and database management which will be required for model streamlining and development.The individual will work closely with other members of the Working Capital Finance team to ensure the end-to-end process of planning and reporting is seamless. The candidate will work closely with the business to understand and evaluate key business trends and drivers and incorporate these into accurate and complete financial forecasts.Job Duties/Accountabilities:Assist with working capital reporting and planning deliverables and analysisMaintain and enhance forecasting and planning modelsContinuously improve planning processes and proceduresAnalyze monthly results and understand business drivers in order to prepare monthly commentary for review with senior managementTrack financial and metrics performance, scorecardsPrepare presentation decks with financial analysis and summaryWork on various special projects that create value from dataManage relationships with other internal finance teams, corporate, subsidiariesInvestigate ad hoc projects or financial issues requiring analysis and resolutionManage multiple deadlines and meet all corporate requirementsEnsure accuracy and completenessQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or FinanceAccounting designation or working towards one (CA, CGA, CMA, CPA)At least 2 years of experience in Financial Reporting/Financial Planning and AnalysisCurious and analytical mindset with a passion to learn and be continuously challengedAbility to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, prioritize and accomplish various deliverables simultaneouslyExperience with managing and reporting on large volumes of dataDemonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and tasks through to resolutionExperience with process mapping and improvementAttention to detail and accuracyExperience with SAP, BPC, SQL, Python, R or SAS would be an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
