Housekeeping Manager - Vancouver Island property

Our client on Vancouver Island that operates a very nice five-star resort-style operation requires a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team.She/he has the responsibility to ensure the property is well taken care of, cleaned in a timely manner, and maintained. The public areas must be maintained at the highest levels of cleanliness and must be aesthetically pleasing.You will help direct and control all housekeeping activities, maintaining all rooms and public areas per company standards for cleanliness and budget costs to ensure guests' satisfaction. You must also have excellent communication skills and care for all guest needs.To be accountable for the quality of the Public Areas, dining rooms, and Spa - ensure areas are well maintained. Responsible for regular training and inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards. To assist with the preparation of yearly budgets and be guided accordingly throughout the year by placing emphasis on retaining high standards and cost controls.Work closely with all management departments to achieve/exceed departmental goals. To be firm and fair leader and a role model for all team members.
