Bilingual Director Information Services Operations

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Bilingual Director Information Services Operations for a permanent position with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

The successful candidate will be required to work 2-3x/week on-site at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON.

Language Requirements

Bilingual in French and English essential.

Security Requirement

Must be eligible for a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability Clearance.

Key Tasks

• Manage the IT Operations in the Information Services Division
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Non-Public Property (NPP) Network across Canada and Europe, on-premises and Cloud data center footprints, cybersecurity, contact center, deskside and application support
• Lead the evolution of foundational technologies and are responsible for the transition of business solutions into operations
• Maintain close relationships with their team, colleagues, and peers inside and outside of the IS Division

Key Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as progressive manager and leader in IM/IT Operations and Support
• Experience planning, managing, evaluating and advancing IM/IT network and system services, IM/IT support services and IM/IT strategies
• Experience managing day-to-day IT operations, on-premises and Cloud data centers, cybersecurity, contact center, deskside and application support

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Experience in planning, managing, evaluating and advancing IM/IT network, systems, data and applications security services
• Expertise in developing, interpreting, implementing and applying IM/IT policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
• Experience in business and strategic planning and managing IM/IT projects
• Experience in personnel administration and budget administration
• Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership
