Are you a compassionate and skilled midwife looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in regional New South Wales? Our reputable healthcare client is seeking dedicated midwives to join their team on contractual terms.

  • Position: Midwife
  • Location: Regional New South Wales, Australia
  • Contract Type: Full-time
  • Start Date: Flexible/ASAP
  • NSW award rates plus casual loading

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive midwifery care to pregnant women, newborns, and their families.
  • Conducting antenatal assessments, assisting with labor and delivery, and providing postnatal care.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
  • Educating and supporting mothers and families on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum health.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Midwifery.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a midwife, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting positive birth experiences.
  • Two references are required before we submit your interest to our client.
