Our client is seeking a Senior Functional Business Analyst to gather requirements for research and analysis for hydrogen technology in the public sector Must Have : 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst 1 year of experience with financial reporting and modeling 5 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis of costs and benefits . University degree in business, management, or related discipline with 4 years of related experience, OR two-year diploma in business, management, or related discipline with 6 years of related experience, OR one-year certificate in business, management, or related discipline with 7 years of related experience Nice to Have : Active certification in CAPM, PMP, or PgMP, or CMC designation. 1 year of experience working with organizational change for service implementation. 1 year of experience analyzing the costs and benefits of hydrogen transportation technologies. Public sector experience Description : The Strategic Initiatives and Service Excellence (SISE) unit of Central Logistics Branch requires research and analysis support to explore the costs and benefits of using hydrogen technology in the government vehicle fleet as part of the Minister's mandate to grow Alberta's hydrogen (H2) fuel and battery electric vehicle (BEV) charging infrastructure. Responsibilities : Facilitate requirements gathering and validation workshops. Develop and document project vision(s) and approach. Analyze and define business requirements for determining roles, relationships, and data structures to meet business, security, privacy, and operational requirements. Work with business clients and technical teams on the design, development, and implementation of business applications. Document, analyze, and manage business requirements. Develop business cases.
