The Senior Metering System Analyst will be responsible for executing strategy, providing technical guidance, and overseeing the meter data management and technology systems across the organization. This role involves managing all metering data activities, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and continuously assessing current systems to identify opportunities for improvement. The Senior Metering System Analyst will also recommend upgrades to enhance business productivity and ensure compliance by developing and defending meter data management evidence for regulatory requirements.Responsibilities:Oversee data collection across multiple Meter Data Management systems, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.Manage processes to maintain high data integrity through control, audit, and validation of data capture, estimation, and validation procedures.Execute, validate, and estimate meter data for billing, investigating and reconciling data gaps as needed.Continuously improve meter data management processes to enhance business productivity.Provide input and develop evidence to support regulatory compliance.Collaborate with IT and Engineering teams to monitor and maintain meter data management system performance, taking necessary actions to ensure optimal functionality.Coordinate with internal and external technicians to resolve defective meters and meter communication issues.Handle communication and inquiries from internal departments regarding meter data management and the onboarding/offboarding of new meters.Oversee the registration, commissioning, auditing, and performance testing processes for new meter installations and meter exchanges within the Meter Data Management and Billing systems.Develop, maintain, and update reports, work procedures, records, and documentation related to Meter Data Management.Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field4+ years of progressive experience in a related role (Data Analyst, Business System Analyst, Business Analyst, Meter Data Analyst, etc)Strong proficiency with SQL, MS Excel and MS AccessExperience with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Meter Data Management (MDM) systems, billing systems, communication technology, and Oracle databases an assetSolid understanding of data collection, processing, and billing processes, specifically related to meter-to-cash operationsFamiliarity with billing data validation and estimation processesExperience in performance measurement and quality monitoringStrong analytical and data management skillsDemonstrated ability to resolve complex customer, process, and technology-related issuesMetergy’s recruitment process includes accommodation for applicants with disabilities.
