Job Requirements / Description
- Leadership and Staff Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of hotel staff. Conduct regular meetings, provide training, and foster a positive work environment.
- Guest Services: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service and addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Financial Management: Manage the hotel's budget, control expenses, and optimize revenue. Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability.
- Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to attract new guests and retain existing ones. Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall presentation of the hotel. Conduct regular inspections and implement improvements as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, preferably in a limited-service property.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attributes: Customer-focused with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. Highly organized with excellent problem-solving abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
