Solutions Architect/Application Architect12 month contract with a 24 month extensionLocation: will primarily work remotely however the Architect(s) may be required to attend meetings or work sessions in Alberta.Must have Qualifications:Mandatory 5 years Experience in leading solution architecture and introducing the overall technical vision for a large-scale Enterprise projects with integrations between systems.Mandatory 5 years Experience leading and mentoring team(s) in agile principles policies and proceduresMinimum 5 years Experience working as an application architect designing or maintaining solutions that use the development stack and derivative technologies (Microsoft .Net, Java, Python, etc.) within a large organizationMandatory 2 years Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and the ability to leverage them to build scalable and resilient architectures.Mandatory 5 years Experience working as a software architect on complex software solutions in an agile team environment.Mandatory 5 years Experience working in software development across the full software development lifecycle.Mandatory 5 years Experience working with open source ecosystems such as Node.js/NPM.Minimum 2 years Experience implementing DevSecOps in an enterprise environmentMinimum 5 years Experience incrementally transforming existing legacy systems into modern digital services across multiple releases.Minimum 5 years Experience working as a senior technical resource identifying and advocating technologies and approaches that lead to digital transformation in the public sector context.Minimum 2 years Experience working with teams that also apply UX design service design design thinking or human-centered design approaches.Minimum 4 years Experience leading domain modelling and database schema design for transactional and reporting systems.Minimum 4 years Experience working as an architect using data analytics tools and methodologies to derive insights from dataMinimum 4 years Experience working with other architects and/or as part of cross-functional teams to identify efficiencies through common services reusable components and application programming interfaces (APIs) and contribute to the overall architecture practice designing and implementing application programming interfaces (APIs) and system integrations.
