Solution Architect

Job Description: Our public sector client is looking for a Solution Architect to act as technical lead on multiple projects. ResponsibilitiesWork as a Solution Architect on multiple business technology projectsWork with stakeholders to assess and understand business project requirements and outcomesDevelop conceptual and logical design for business technology problemsWork as the Technical Lead on projects, holding vendor and government technical resources accountable for ensuring solution’s architectures comply with current standards and are in alignment with the direction of the client environmentCoordinate the review and approval of solution designs through the technical governance processOversee the technical implementation and deployment of new business solutionsParticipating and contributing to the maturity of the architecture practiceDeveloping and maintaining technology standards and system roadmapsQualificationsDemonstrated experience as a practicing Solution Architect leading solution design and implementation on complex projects including cloud integrationsExperience as a Solution Architect on at least 5 business technology projects Experience implementing and integrating Azure and Oracle Cloud PaaS and SaaS services within a solutionDemonstrated experience as a technical lead on projects overseeing third party implementors and proprietary technology solutionsCertification in TOGAF 9 or newerDemonstrated knowledge and successful implementation of a wide variety of modern IT technologiesDemonstrated experience using modern architectural principles and applying current best practices as part of an enterprise solution designDemonstrated experience in creating and managing architectural and technology standardsCertifications with Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud services are considered an assetProject Manager Certification is considered an assetHourly rate: $110-$125Affinity Earn: Know someone who’s great for this, or any of our open roles?
