Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Settlements Analyst to ensure accurate and timely settlement of investment transactions and maintain records. This role involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders and requires a strong understanding of financial instruments and settlement processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Settlements: Ensure accurate and timely settlement of investment transactions, including equities, bonds, and derivatives.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of trade settlements, payments, and commissions.
- Confirmation and Documentation: Confirm trade orders, create contract notes for counterparties, and maintain transaction records.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with brokers, custodians, accountants, and internal departments to resolve settlement issues.
- Accounting and Reporting: Use Xero for accounting and reconciliation, create commission statements and invoices, and conduct monthly trade copy and sales analysis.
- Ad-hoc Support: Handle ad hoc requests, provide holiday cover, and manage travel arrangements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience: 3 years plus in a settlements or operations role within financial services
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and settlement systems.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
