Position # : 130970 Expected Start Date: October 14, 2024 Union: SUN Facility: Victoria Square City/Town: Prince Albert Department: Mental Health Community Case Management - Community Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Evenings Hours of Work:   224 hours per 6 weeks rotation Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Job Description:   THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION IS TO PROVIDE CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES THAT PROMOTE PRESERVE AND RESTORE THE MENTAL HEALTH OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE A LONG-TERM PSYCHIATRIC DISABILITY THROUGH LEADERSHIP, CARE, AND SERVICE.  THE COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH NURSE IS A MEMBER OF A TEAM WHICH DELIVERS SERVICES IN THE REHABILITATION PROGRAM.  THIS PERSON IS ACCOUNTABLE TO PAPHR POLICIES AND GUIDELINES, ACCEPTED STANDARDS OF NURSING PRACTICE AND PROFESSIONAL ETHICS AND THE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ACT Travel Required: No Human Resources Exemption: No Experience Five (5) years' experience in Mental Health Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) Nursing diploma is acceptable Other Information Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) Registered/eligible with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of SK For more information on the city of Prince Albert please visit https://www.citypa.ca
