What will you do?The Digital Power Application Center (DPAC) has several exciting new projects and is looking to enhance our team with a Digital Energy Solutions Tender Engineer. If you are passionate about transforming end user's needs into solutions that help customers meet modern-day requirements, digitize electrical distribution systems in hospitals, airports, data centers, microgrids, and electric vehicle solutions, then this job opportunity might be perfect for you.Capture and understand customer needsDefine technical solutions for multi-technology projectsEnsure competitiveness and technical compliance of bid submissionsAttend technical meetings with customersWhat qualifications will make you successful for this role?Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation Engineering degree or equivalent education5+ years' experience in tendering/quotation for Automation projects related to Industrial Power Systems. Alternatively, experience as a Technical Leader or Technical Project Manager would be considered.Application knowledge of SCADA and Automation Solutions for Industrial Power Systems. General product knowledge in deploying SCADA components.Effective communication with stakeholders, work planning, and organizational skills. Ability to abstract a system from customer requirements.Registered Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) or Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)Driving license requiredAvailability for travel to customer sites within the country (10-30%)For Quebec-based candidates, functional knowledge of English and French is required.
