Summary Description: The National Account Manager will sit in our Canada - Milton, Ontario office and is an integral part of the Sales team, assisting with identifying, developing, and following new business opportunities through internal processes. This position will deliver a comprehensive analysis of opportunities for our brand(s), development of opportunities to achieve customer plan, support the brand strategy agenda at the customer, leverage customer insights, optimize 360° growth levers with the multifunctional team and sales, and support analysis around relevant key performance indicators. What will your day look like? Collaborates with Operations and Brand teams to develop strategies and execute customer-specific programs to drive sales and share growth through positive outcomes supporting financial targets for each brand, Gorilla and O’Keeffe’s. Analyze performance data and optimize campaigns to ensure they remain relevant and drive brand sponsorship while also maintaining a strong ROI. Maintains working knowledge of competitive product and price strategies, as well as off-shelf sales initiative summaries of the market. Uses these strategies to generate new business and expand current sales opportunities. Develops and maintains tracking and planning documents that support forecasting, planning, and delivery of strategic initiatives. Networks with business professionals in Strategic Mass Channel attends store walks with merchants, and works with various replenishment teams to build brand advocacy and generate leads and new business ideas. Establishes a weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedule to collect and analyze data that can drive Gorilla to meet and exceed performance plans including Retail Price Shops, Store Walk Recaps, Updated Planogram Summaries, etc. As category expert for the Brand and competitive products at a specific customer, will analyze and provide POS and business insights to increase sales productivity, support forecast process, and assist in business planning. Establish, manage, and own best-in-class product presentation standards that will be utilized across product pages and all marketing campaigns. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks, reading professional publications, and participating in professional networking organizations. Enhances the organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Other duties assigned by management. Periodic travel might be required. This position is eligible for our Hybrid modelWhat you bring to the table: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar field. MBA Preferred. Five years proven track record in business sales or related market and at least 2 years’ experience directly working on the Strategic Mass Channel (Walmart, Canadian Tire, etc.) Exceptional marketing and sales skills. Strong analytic skill set with the ability to provide actionable recommendations based on critical metrics. Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Managerial abilities and leadership qualities. Ability to build, maintain, and persuade customer relationships. Self-motivated nature and ability to perform under pressure. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
