Job Requirements / Description

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Tasks

  1. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  2. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
  3. Perform routine clerical duties
  4. Prepare and submit reports
  5. Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  6. Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  7. Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll and other summaries
  8. Ensure proper functioning of equipment
  9. Maintain work records and logs
  10. Monitor personnel workloads and locations
  11. Organize warehouse and work areas
  12. Perform general office duties
  13. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  14. Recruit and hire staff
  15. Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units
  16. Co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies
  17. Compile worksheets and specifications of orders
  18. Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
  19. Estimate type and quantity of materials and labour required for production, construction and other projects
  20. Monitor production progress
  21. Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
  22. Provide customer service
  23. Train workers in duties and policies
  24. Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  25. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  26. Assist with maintenance of communications equipment
  27. Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  28. Follow-up on issues with work orders
  29. Keep track of shipments
  30. Maintain vehicle operator work records
  31. Respond to urgent calls from individuals who find themselves in life-threatening situations and who require assistance
  32. Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment
  33. Organize and maintain inventory
  34. Establish work schedules and procedures
  35. Contact customers to deliver requested wakeup calls
  36. Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
