Computer Network Technician

Bronswerk manages the entire process, from design to commissioning, installation and in-service support.Your challenge:Are you a Computer and Network Technician with more than 3 years of experience in infrastructure management? Do you want to join a growing team in a multi-site environment?In this position you effectively resolve IT incidents, document actions, collaborate with internal teams, and participate in company initiatives. You ensure the maintenance and problem solving of our organization's users' computers as well as the stability of networks, thus ensuring efficient IT and network operations. You will work closely with other IT staff to plan and implement computer and network upgrades.This role also involves installing, configuring, and supporting the organization's local computers and assisting in the support area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems. Exposure to Azure and Office 365 will be an additional responsibility.Main responsibilities:Maintain and resolve problems related to computer equipment and networksAssist users in resolving software and hardware issues.Ensure regular PC maintenance such as firmware updates, patch management and backups via a remote management tool.Assist in the installation and configuration of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls and servers.Install and configure operating systems, network services and applications on PCs.Ensure network security measures are appropriate and up-to-date.Provide technical support to users, resolving issues related to network connectivity, hardware and software.Provide on-site and remote technical support to usersMaintain detailed records of user issues and resolutions in the support ticket system.Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, network adapters and system modifications.Manage the telephone system and cell phonesParticipate in team meetings and contribute to the development of IT strategies and projectsExposure to Azure and Office 365 What sets you apart?Diploma of college studies (DEC) in information technology or a related field (bachelor's degree in IT - an asset).Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar rolePractical experience in PC management and installation.Familiarity with Windows operating systemsFamiliarity with network printersVMwareProactive approach, focused on deadlinesBilingual (French / English)Excellent sense of organization and prioritiesAdditional knowledge of the following software may be an asset:Autodesk ProductsVarious engineering applicationsAzure/Office 365SharePointRemote management tools such as Ninja RmmMSTeamMicrosoftMicrosoft Navision (ERP)PowerShellDiagnose and resolve hardware and software problems related to networks and computer systems.Why join the Bronswerk team?Industry Leader in HVAC & Marine Refrigeration SystemsHybrid work environment Friday afternoons off all year roundHappy Hours, Teambuilding activities and moreRecognition & Reward Program Have the opportunity to work in a very dynamic, diverse and motivated team
