Description:The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) and the University of Manitoba, Department of Surgery, are inviting applications for a full-time Vascular Surgeon to address the labour shortage in Manitoba. Main responsibilities include diagnosing and treating diseases of the vascular system, ordering lab tests and x-rays, consulting with other physicians, and conducting medical research. The successful candidate may also be eligible for appointment as an Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba. Job duties must be performed in English.Qualifications:The ideal candidate must have a Doctor of Medicine Degree with specialization in vascular surgery, be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and hold registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.Compensation:Compensation is based on fee-for-service income ranging from $326,000 to $500,000 annually. Specialty Physicians may qualify for a recruitment incentive.
