Operations Manager

General Description  This is a Managerial role in the area of administration with a strong analytical component.  Responsibilities include the oversight of inventory records, contract compliance, new ERP software onboarding and coordination of cashflow and AR/AP functions. Scope of Work Oversee the transition of new manufacturing and accounting software from existing ERP software Responsible for Inventory accuracy and tracking of COGS, with a focus to bring costs down. Assessing financial information for internal use i.e., daily bank balance snapshots, cashflow and purchasing approvals Provide oversight to AP and AR including collections Execute payments through bank wires and PayPal; setting up accounts and client communication Management of administrative staff  Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and reports as needed from time to time  Provide oversight to IT contractor and make recommendations for infrastructure improvement Monitoring and engaging in Artist contracts and royalty payments in a timely manner  Engage with other Backun team members for collaborative solutions Qualifications Strong problem-solving skills in accounting areas Business acumen with minimum of 5 years of a proven track record Education in accounting/business (CPA not required) Emphasis on timeliness and accuracy Articulate and cordial correspondence skills Strong IT skills  Must have a PR or Canadian Citizenship The Ideal candidate should have experience in a manufacturing company ERP software experience About usBackun is a growing Canadian musical instrument manufacturer.
