Job DescriptionMissionWe are looking for an engineer specialised in structural engineering inspection to join our large metropolitan team in transportation. You will be responsible for monitoring major structures such as the Olympic Park, the Ville-Marie and Viger tunnels, the REM, the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge and the Bonaventure Expressway. You will carry out inspection, recommend work and take part in additional expert assessments.ResponsibilitiesParticipate actively in inspections planning and coordinationPerform detailed inspection of various engineering structures, such as road and railway bridges, signaling and electrotechnical structures and other related worksUse different access methods (ropes, gondolas, catwalks, etc.)Conduct studies and write technical reports, with photos and sketchesContribute to the realization of additional expertisePartake in load-bearing capacity assessment mandates ProfileBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction engineeringAt least three years’ relevant experience in civil engineering, structures inspectionActive member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)Knowledge of Ministry of Transport inspection systems, GSQ, GSS and GSECurious, dynamic and organizedTeam spirit and agilityComfortable working at heights and in confined spacesFluency in spoken and written FrenchCompleted worksite safety training (ASP construction card)Valid Class 5 driver’s licenceContact Afifa Karah-Ali #LI-Hybrid Additional InformationEthics and integrity are fundamental values at CIMA+, and we are looking for people who uphold these principles.
