Corporate Retail Site Manager

About the Opportunity: McDougall Energy is looking for a motivated, results-focused and highly organized individual to thrive in the role of Corporate Retail Site Manager at our McNabb and Korah Shell, Convenience & Fueling Stations. Reporting to the Area Supervisor of Corporate Retail, the Corporate Retail Site Manager is responsible for the overall supervision of the retail operations of the site, ensuring consistent company culture, goals, and objectives are met. As a Corporate Retail Site Manager, you will enjoy: Competitive Compensation 4 weeks paid vacation Company paid Health & Dental Benefits Healthcare & Lifestyle Spending Account Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Your key responsibilities: Responsible for all activities at the site, including daily operation of gas bar and convenience store Responsible for the site’s adherence to policies and procedures including customer service, safety, government, and fuel regulations and guidelines Responsible for maximizing the sales and profitability of the store by monitoring and achieving volume, sales, labour and controllable site expenses Responsible for ensuring all company controls, processes, standards and procedures are implemented and adhered to Responsible for staff training and ensuring all up to date on program offers About you: 2 years’ experience in retail management. High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education an asset. Smart Serve Certificate and asset. Strong customer service and merchandising skills. Strong organizations and prioritization skills; committed to deadlines Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Strong accuracy and attention to detail; able to manage large volumes of data Computer proficiency and demonstrated knowledge of spreadsheet applications; ability to use a POS software platform as asset Demonstrated success in living the values of McDougall Energy Strong understanding of Privacy and Confidentiality in the workplace Must have a valid G Licence and reliable vehicle. The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass the Retail Smart Serve course, if not already certified.
