Technical Solutions Engineer, Smart Systems Technology

As our Technical Solutions Engineer, Smart Systems Technology, you will: Review job specifications and drawings to develop performance specifications and design solutions. Assist clients in finalizing designs and creating tailored solutions. Conduct site/tender walkthroughs to cross-reference drawings, avoid interferences, and identify solutions. Focus on onboard and off-board vehicle systems, including PA, PIDs, GIDs, Farecard, Radio, and Train control. Design solutions such as harnesses, bracketry, and installation practices. Participate in prototyping and create installation design documentations. Create assessment reports from on-site installation reviews. Produce performance specifications and documentation for accurate project execution. Communicate with clients to gather information, clarify specifications, and resolve ambiguities. Collaborate with sub-contractors and suppliers for component and system integration. Participate in design review meetings and provide technical support to sales activities. Attend handover meetings with the project management team after the award. QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience within the electrical construction industry. Demonstrated knowledge of smart systems, including wiring for building automation, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and mechanical systems. An Electrical Engineering degree or diploma, or related education and/or trade experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
