Rorketon School is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school approximately 3 hours northwest of Winnipeg and 1 hour northeast of Dauphin. The school has a student population of 91 students with a teaching staff of 7 and 15 support staff members.Qualifications: Bachelor of Education degree and preferably a Masters’ Degree in Education or related field Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for) Manitoba Inclusive Education certificate or certification in progress At least five years of teaching experience Previous experience as a Resource Teacher Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life Excellent understanding of current Manitoba curricula and differentiated instruction Knowledge and training in formal and informal assessment Familiar with appropriate educational programming Ability to complete provincial documentation requirements for appropriate educational programming Ability to interpret educational and cognitive assessments Willingness to be trained in intervention programs presently in place A commitment to continue to support on-going programs in the school Strong verbal and written communication skills Applicants are required to submit the following: cover letter current resume list of three professional references including contact numbers, all of whom must have knowledge of the applicant’s performance in the applicant’s current or recent assignment Thank you for your interest; however, only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
