THE POSITION

Due to exceptional growth and planned further expansion, we are seeking an experienced Technical Support Analyst to complement our Club Software Support Team. This role is an entry level role to the team with limited and specific duties to start and over time will contribute to the team across all areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Club Support Management Team, the core responsibilities of the position are to:

  • Troubleshoot more common issues that hit the technical team- activations, installs, printing issues, some common errors
  • Troubleshoot Client technical issues – networking/hardware issues to a smaller degree, permissions
  • Serve as Tier two, escalation point between Clients and Jonas
  • Run SQL scripts to correct various issues, run and create SQL queries, review system logs (task that you would to as you progress in the position)
  • Trace software to determine root causes of issues (task that you would work to as you progress in the position)
  • Keep clients informed of progression with issues and provide follow up as necessary
  • Collaborate with other departments or offices as necessary to expedite resolutions
  • Promote and maintain a high quality, professional, service-oriented company image among clients
  • Assist with testing of the club products
  • Assist in afterhours rotation. (Once knowledge level is there)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience working in a technical role, preferably a technical support role, involving close communication with customers and the internal support teams
  • Experience in accounting based applications preferably in the Private or Public Golf Club Industries, Hotel or other related Hospitality Industries an asset
  • Knowledge and experience with SQL, advanced Excel, Database Structure
  • Knowledge of Providex an asset
  • Experience with networking and troubleshooting inclusive of Citrix, Terminal services, Virtual Servers is a must
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work in fast paced environment
  • Experience working with the Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with various operating systems, including Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server Operating Systems.
  • Strong communication and soft skills are a must
  • Proven ability to problem solve and teach others
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
