Do you have electrical experience? Do you enjoy working with your hands? Can you read blueprints? Keep reading!This is for 1st shift, 6:45 AM- 3:00 PM Monday- Friday with NO WEEKENDS!Key ResponsibilitiesAble to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics + blueprintsElectrical/ mechanical troubleshooting experienceAble to visualize and plan the assembly of a part based on wiring schematics and mechanical blueprintsPerform electrical wiring techniques (stripping, terminating, crimping)QualificationsRequirements:High school degree or equivalentElectrical and mechanical experienceMust be mechanically inclined and have demonstrated knowledge/ability to read and interpret schematics/blueprints, shop drawings, manuals, etc.Must be able to work under minimal supervisionDemonstrates a high level of operational understanding of work practices, technology and SRA’sDemonstrates knowledge and understanding of area specific equipmentLearns, understands, and can implement and adhere to all policies, practices and procedures.5+ years of directly related on the job experience - strong sense of urgency, organizational ability and take ownership to help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budgeted hoursDesiredExperience wiring PLCs and robotics systems will be considered an assetPosition, install, and secure all sub-components into various pieces of equipment as per appropriate drawingsPrevious experience in custom assembly of water treatment systemsOperate a wide variety of machinery as part of the manufacturing processes i.e. pipe/conduit/tube benders, grinders, drills, etcFabricate, assemble and hydro-test PVC, PP, and PVDF pipe spoolsPerform self-inspection to verify that all components are installed, tested and match applicable drawings and sign QA documentationAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.As an inclusive company, Veolia is committed to diversity and gives equal consideration to all applications, without discrimination.
