This expertise will be gained through a review of the current documentation, direct contact with the products and working with the technical personnel. You will also be a champion of product quality - working with development to improve test coverage and test efficiency through automation. Best of all, you will be part of the Ross Video family, and we’ve got a pretty energizing environment here.What the job is all about:Participate in the design process and collaborate with the development teams to enable and deliver product test automation.Develop test automation plans and cases.Regular automated test execution and reporting.Participate in the management of the automation environment.Document automation, test environment and test execution processes.Provide effort estimation for scheduling purposes.Provide regular status updates.Collaborate with other teams as needed.Perform other related duties as required.Who you are:Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.A minimum of 5 years experience in an automation role.Experience with automation testing concepts.Knowledge of operating systems (Linux and various Windows platforms).Experience with test cycle management tools.Experience with development management tools such as source control and code review.You have a full automation toolbox including Postman and JMeter.Bonus points if you have the following:Knowledge of DevOps (Jenkins, Docker, EC2, RDS, etc).Knowledge of cloud technology (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, etc).Equity, Diversity & Inclusion:At Ross, we embrace diversity, and we want you to bring your authentic self to work.
