Job Description The Director, Go-to-Market Canada, is a key senior strategic role responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy for our Canadian higher education market. Based in the vibrant city of Fredericton, nestled along the beautiful Saint John River, our office is located in the heart of downtown—an ideal place to work and live. This position is crucial for achieving ambitious growth targets and ensuring the effective positioning, messaging, and pricing of our Canadian entity. We are seeking a dynamic strategic thinker with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record in marketing, sales, and business development, ready to make a significant impact in one of Canada's most picturesque and welcoming cities. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy tailored to the Canadian higher education market. Set and manage ambitious growth targets for Canada, including budgeting and efficiency metrics like CLV:CAC ratio. Collaborate with the product development team to customize solutions for the Canadian market. Marketing and Campaign Management: Work with the performance marketing team to design and execute targeted campaigns that generate leads and drive demand. Build and optimize a sales funnel using website, CRM, and sales teams to enhance lead conversion. Data Analysis and Optimization: Monitor and analyze performance data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make necessary adjustments. Stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging trends in the Canadian higher education sector. Team and Budget Management: Manage the budget for the Canadian market, including forecasting, planning, and resource allocation. Build and lead a high-performing marketing team to meet revenue and growth objectives. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting, marketing, sales, business development, or high-growth startups in Canada. Proven ability to develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies and achieve growth targets. Strong conceptual and analytical skills with expertise in marketing and brand building. Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and sales technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships. Demonstrated leadership and management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the Canadian higher education industry, including key players and trends. Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems. Hours of Work This is a full-time permanent position (35 hours) under regular business hours. The position is located in Fredericton, NB with the possibility to work remotely from anywhere in New Brunswick, and attend in-office meetings, as required. The ideal candidate should reside in New Brunswick or is willing to relocate.
