Our client is a 100% employee-owned COR certified, leading Canadian General Contractor with projects from coast to coast. As a leader in the construction industry, they deliver quality services in ICI and multi-unit residential construction with a focus on off-site construction and sustainability. Our client is seeking to identify an experience Construction Manager to the team. As a Construction Manager specializing in ICI projects, you will oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects within the industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Scheduling:Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.Create and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of all phases.Budget Management:Prepare and manage project budgets, monitoring expenses and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.Identify cost-saving measures and manage change orders effectively.Contract Negotiation and Management:Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure favorable terms.Manage contract administration and enforce compliance throughout the project lifecycle.Team Leadership:Supervise and mentor project teams, including contractors, engineers, architects, and support staff.Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting safety and quality standards.Quality Assurance and Compliance:Implement quality control procedures to achieve project specifications and regulatory requirements.Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.Client Relations:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.Build strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.Risk Management:Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).Proven experience as a Construction Manager in ICI projects, with a track record of successful project completions.Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement plans.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
