Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control Machinist located in Oakville, ON. The Computer Numerical Control Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to manufacture parts with toght tolerances. They will interpret blueprints, set up machines, and monitor the machining process to ensure accuracy and quality. The Computer Numerical Control Machinist will also perform routine maintenance on machines and make adjustments as necessary.QualificationsExperience operating and programming CNC Lathe and Milling machinesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong Knowledge of the machining processes and materialsStrong attention to detail and precisionBasic computer skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and problem-solving skillsHigh school diploma or equivalentCertification in CNC machining is a plusPrior experience in a similar role is a plusWe value diversity and inclusion in our workforce.
