Job Title: Technical Product Manager
Department: IT (Digital Product Management)
Location: Calgary, AB, Edmonton, AB, Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON
Work Arrangement: This role is primarily based in the office environment
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Digital Product Management, the Technical Product Manager will play a crucial role in shaping our product portfolio and driving the successful delivery of innovative technology solutions. This leadership position requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and effective collaboration to ensure that our products meet the needs of both the business and our customers. In this role, you will help build and lead a dynamic cross-functional team, providing guidance while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Primary Job Functions:
The duties of the Technical Product Manager include:
Provide strategic direction for projects within the business by maintaining a comprehensive technical product roadmap.
Allocate new projects to project managers with clear explanations.
Monitor the progress of each project to ensure timely delivery and alignment with objectives.
Act as a liaison to bridge the gap between internal business groups and initiatives.
Support and drive executive initiatives both departmentally and company-wide.
Ensure all IT solutions are integrated and compatible with current systems.
Oversee the technical configurations that meet the needs of the business, including but not limited to user roles, delay codes, messaging setup/addition, etc.
Develop user training programs for core applications.
Create and maintain a Policy and Procedures Manual related to core applications.
Regularly review processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and adaptability to the evolving needs of various business groups.
Perform other duties as assigned .
Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:
A postgraduate degree in business or technology is required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be acceptable.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant product leadership experience.
Proven track record as a Technical Product Manager with successful product launches.
Airline experience is not mandatory but is considered an asset.
Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects.
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships and demonstrate team-building capabilities.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for developing effective solutions.
A customer-focused mindset is essential for engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in analyzing opportunities and challenges, recommending solutions, and communicating effectively and confidently (both verbally and in writing).
High level of curiosity and motivation for continuous learning and development.
Strong influencing and collaboration skills to drive cross-functional teamwork.
Ability to maintain a high level of operational and technical knowledge necessary for the role.
