As the Head of Learning Experience, you will lead our educational initiatives, focusing on developing and implementing innovative training strategies that maximize the effective use of our data collaboration platform. In this pivotal role, you will be directly responsible for the company's learning and development spectrum. Your mission will be to craft the strategic vision and execute detailed learning materials that enhance user engagement and competency in data technologies and foster a continuous learning and innovation culture. Heavily utilizing AI tools, you will streamline processes and create impactful content, significantly influencing our organizational growth and success.

What you will be doing:

  • Strategic Leadership: Spearhead the learning and development strategy, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives to enhance company-wide data literacy and proficiency.
  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement innovative training curricula integrating state-of-the-art educational practices and an in-depth understanding of our data collaboration technologies.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging, high-quality educational materials using advanced AI tools to enhance production quality and learning engagement.
  • Live Training: Deliver compelling live training sessions to foster active learning and support, enhancing user engagement and practical understanding.
  • LMS Oversight: Manage and optimize the Learning Management System to ensure content is current, accessible, and effectively meeting diverse learning objectives.
  • Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with SMEs across departments to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content, strategically managing resources to support educational initiatives without disrupting other business functions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly collect and analyze user feedback and internal metrics to continuously improve the learning materials and strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work with internal teams to ensure training relevance and foster a data-literate culture within the company.

What you bring - Don’t worry if you don’t have all these things, we believe in investing in personal growth and can coach you to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Communication, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in leading educational projects, preferably in technology-driven environments.
  • Deep familiarity with technical, data-centric platforms/products and strong technical acumen.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers, particularly in sectors like banking or finance.
  • Proficiency in instructional design and multimedia content production, including Adobe Creative Suite and AI tools like ChatGPT and ElevenLabs.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of independently managing the complete lifecycle of learning initiatives.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills for effective training delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Previous experience in developing learning experiences for SaaS or B2B software companies.
Key Results (things we will measure success):
As a new Head of Learning Experience for Cinchy, your initial 30/60/90-day plan should focus on understanding the company culture, team dynamics, and existing learning material while building relationships with key stakeholders.
30 days:
Familiarize yourself with your team, Cinchy's mission, values, and strategic objectives.
Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current learning and training collateral, processes, and technologies.
Identify gaps in learning.
60 days:
Develop a Learning and Development vision/strategy
Identify opportunities to optimize resource utilization, reduce manual effort, and enhance customer training and learning.
90 days:
Ensure alignment between learning activities and broader organizational objectives.
Engage with external partners including customers and vendors
Our Hiring Process:
Talent Screen: You will initially meet (online) with someone from our Talent team. (30 minutes)
Technical Fit: Teach us something. (60-90 minutes)
Team Fit: We then have a values fit interview with other members of Cinchy (60 minutes)
