The Country Manager is part of the Atlas Copco Vacuum Technique Business Area, focusing on the Atlas Copco Vacuum brand to become the undisputed leader in central vacuum equipment and service sales in Canada. The Country Manager is a key part of the management team and will work closely with the General Manager and other management team peers to ensure a sustainable, proactive business model for equipment and service in the region.
Be responsible for the Profit and Loss and the Balance Sheet of the Canada business including CTV and Service.
Lead the equipment and service teams and drive engagement amongst the team members.
Ensure clear roles and responsibilities for equipment sales and service teams.
Invest in talent retention and growing pipeline for equipment and service team.
Ensure your team is closely linked to the USA Team and Divisional team and understands the strategy, processes, and tools available for success.
Ensure engaged champions in the local team that can build up knowledge and train local colleagues.
Manage local business, profitability, costs.
Elaborate and implement an ambitious plan to achieve strong profitable growth.
Lead towards a high level of customer satisfaction, adapting our organization and processes to the needs of our customers.
Monitor the development of a defined set of KPIs and scorecards, resulting in corrective and preventive actions (i.e., profitability, growth, forecasting, territory action plans, BRMs, CRM’s, etc.).
Interact closely with other Business Line Managers (Equipment and service) to ensure an aligned and collaborative approach on how equipment and service divisions can support each other.
Focus on developing all relevant equipment and service sales channels, direct and indirect.
Handle major equipment and service plan negotiations for the business in the region.
Stay up to date on market intelligence (incl. price levels). Price every product in line with the marketing plan and market potential against current market levels to give all products the best chance in the market.
Develop the business within the defined business territory, with the objective of giving all products the best chance in the market.
Present own strategy in Business Line Review Meetings, participate and provide updates at regular meetings with the relevant regional service support team as well as the division and business area management as required.
Ensure optimum behavior and performance of the business line with the country/region acting as the first point of escalation for business resolution issues.
Safeguard a safe and healthy working environment.
Minimum of 50% travel may be required.

What we expect of you?
At least five years in a strategic role capable of leading and developing a Canadian equipment and service business with a proven track record of delivering results in those areas.
Sound commercial awareness.
Bachelor’s degree is desirable, in either management, business, administration, marketing engineering or other technical specialization. Relevant related experience would be considered.
Excellent computer skills are required (C4C, SAP, ERP, and MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working experience in a highly customer and service-oriented environment.
Fluent in French and English (written and spoken) is required.
Knowledge of vacuum technology in industrial vacuum markets is essential.
Management of remote and local teams.
