In this role, the successful candidate will identify user needs, advocate for optimal technology experiences and develop strategies for effective implementation and training. The Learning & User Advocacy Lead will collaborate with early adopters to refine technology practices, measure adoption and drive continuous improvement.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of comprehensive user advocacy strategies to align with goals to drive adoptionDrive cross-functional initiatives to enhance user experience and technology adoption across the firmStay up to date on industry trends and best practices and integrate them into the firm’s technology adoption strategiesCoordinate the implementation and optimization of a Learning Management System, ensuring effective ongoing utilizationIdentify user needs and use cases for key groups through collaboration and ethnographic techniques, including identifying the how they work, their preferred platforms and work situations and opportunities for improvementAdvocate for the best user experience for technology solutions based on identified needsProvide input to develop strategies for implementing new solutions, including communication strategy, key messages, training strategy and high-level curriculumCollaborate with early adopters to establish successful ways to use technology and promote these practices within the firmMeasure adoption and satisfaction to support continuous improvement and advocate for a positive technology experience to other functional groupsCollaborate with Business Analyst and QA to review non-functional and functional requirements, ensuring human change aspects are well understood and documentedParticipate in the design, development and management of key communications related to technical changes, ensuring clear and consistent messagingSupport the design and delivery of training programs to prepare employees for technical changesIdentify and address resistance to technical changes, developing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure smooth transitionsQualificationsProven experience (5+ years) in user advocacy, training or a related role, preferably within a law firm or similar professional environmentExperience with ethnographic or observational research techniques to understand user needs and behaviorsExperience facilitating focus groups, interviews and surveysExperience in developing and implementing training programs and communication strategiesProficiency in using technology platforms and tools relevant to the legal industryAbility to analyze data and metrics to measure adoption and satisfactionEffective communication and people skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholdersExcellent problem-solving abilities and a user-centric mindsetA proactive and adaptable approach to workStrong advocacy skills to champion user needs and experiencesCommitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with the latest technology trendsWe thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.Davies is committed to providing a diverse, inclusive and accessible workplace for candidates and firm members with disabilities.
