Our client, a sole practitioner in employment law is looking to add a Legal Secretary to their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Solid computer and typing skills: Proficiency in Windows 10, Word 2013, Office 2013, PCLaw version 14.1, Excel Microsoft Office 265, Phillips Speech Exec Pro.
  • Excellent organizations skills, self -motivated, able to manage multiple tasks
  • Responsible for all daily work in running an office- i.e. answering phone, paying bills, filing of legal reports , etc.
  • Strong dicta and typing skills, impeccable proofreading, grammar skills and attention to detail
  • Experience and understanding of PCLaw including: opening files posting dockets, preparing accounts, posting of cheques, etc.
  • Opening, maintaining and closing files
  • Experience in filing of court documents online
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
  • Drafting and filing of Law Society Annual Return, Payment of membership fees, etc.
