Their North American investment activities are lead by a successful and accomplished team based in Toronto and New York. Focus areas in renewables, energy transition, digital and transportation, taking on positions of influence. With a very sizable new fund and focus on CORE+ investing this is a very busy team and the team is growing again. Your role will focus on the entire investment process as well as portfolio management. Join an amazing group of diversified respected and accomplished investors who will be your mentors and your colleagues, where together you will make an impact, investing and growing sustainable asset classes.The successful candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in an analytically focused capacity, related to infrastructure investing, coming from another infrastructure fund or pension fund, investment banking, project finance, infrastructure consulting or infrastructure developer.Responsibilities:Actively involved in all aspects of investing from sourcing, modeling, due diligence, expert meetings, negotiations and working closely with management teamsPreparation of complex models, including LBOsInvest across all infrastructure asset classes in North American investments with both the Toronto and NY teamsDevelop a strong understanding of the various asset classes, including regulatory and government policy, technological advancements.Value creation involvement, such as business expansions and bolt-on acquisitionsSupport in the divestment process of portfolio assetsProvide support as needed by attending meetings, preparation for and following up on action items, conferences, offsites, etc;Qualifications and characteristics:Undergraduate degree, preferably in commerce/business, economics, engineering, mathematics, or related field2-4 years of industry related professional experience in a highly analytically focused capacityInvestment banking, pension fund or infrastructure investor, preferred.Previous experience with energy, transportation or digital infrastructure and related industries, preferred.Demonstrated financial fluency and understanding of accountingExceptional analytical & modeling skills, with strong attention to detailExcellent communication both written and verbalHighly team oriented, collaborative, focused on collective success of the teamSome travel will be requiredMust be legally eligible to work in CanadaOur client is focused on diversity and inclusion which has created a cohesive collaborative team environment.Interested candidates should apply to the attention of:Linda Nugent, Managing Partner, Peloton Search Partners at: [email protected] thank all applicants for their interest, however only those that most closely meet the requirements will be contacted for an interview.
